Pelvic Health Program
Our Whole Body Health Physical Therapy Team is fortunate to have a team of extensively trained pelvic health specialists. They are able to perform both internal and external exams as necessary and provide treatment for both women and men who may be experiencing pelvic pain and dysfunction. Our program includes education about your condition, strengthening, a home exercise program, and manual techniques that can help you get on track to reach your goals.
Pelvic dysfunction can include, but is not limited to:
Chronic pelvic pain
Rectal pain or pain in the tailbone/coccyx
Pain during pregnancy or postpartum
Sexual dysfunction due to pain
Pelvic organ prolapse
Post-prostate surgery
Urinary urge and incontinence
Bowel and fecal disorders including constipation
Pre- and post-partum dysfunction

Examples of treatment interventions include general education regarding your potential pelvic dysfunction, urinary logs which tract urinary frequency to ultimately help decrease frequency, variations of strengthening, manual treatments, education on pre- and post-partum care, and sexual dysfunction and pain guidance.
